MasterBari app is operated by the MasterBari Team, which acts as the primary Data Controller for all user information. When you use our application, we are deeply committed to protecting your privacy. Below is a clear, transparent explanation of what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

• Authentication & Account Profile: MasterBari supports Google Sign-In and Email OTP authentication. The One-Time Password (OTP) code is sent exclusively to your email. We collect your public profile name, registered email address, unique authentication provider ID, and profile picture URL. If you choose to upload a profile picture, the image will be securely stored and used only for your account profile. Password credentials are securely managed by our authentication provider using industry-standard security practices and are never stored or accessible in plain text by the application. Users may optionally provide additional profile information such as mobile number, address, district, gender, and educational class. These fields are used solely for profile personalization and are not required to use the application's core features. It is not used for authentication mechanisms, SMS verifications, or marketing campaigns.
• Feature-Based Information:
  • Today's Date & Smart Calendar: This feature provides a unified calendar that displays the Gregorian (English), Bangla, and Hijri (Arabic) calendars simultaneously. Users can view important national and international observance days in Bangladesh, such as International Mother Language Day (21 February), based on the selected date. Users can also create personal events (e.g., birthdays, anniversaries, appointments, or reminders). These personal events are securely stored on the user's device and synchronized with our secure cloud infrastructure to enable backup, restoration, and access across the user's devices.
  • Jobs & Exams: This feature stores users' quiz scores, practice test results, question bank progress, and learning statistics related to educational and job preparation activities. The data is securely synchronized with our cloud infrastructure and is accessible only to the authenticated user.
  • Baby Zone: Baby Zone is a dedicated educational section designed for children. It provides learning materials, stories, rhymes, and foundational educational content. This section does not intentionally collect or request any additional personal information from children. In compliance with the Google Play Families Policy and the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), Baby Zone does not collect Personally Identifiable Information (PII) from children and does not display inappropriate or behaviorally targeted advertisements. Audio content is provided solely for educational purposes. We do not collect or store users' voice recordings. Parents or legal guardians are encouraged to supervise children's use of the application.
  • Dynamic Alarm: Users can create, edit, reschedule, and manage alarms. Alarm settings are stored only on the user's device and are not uploaded or synchronized with our cloud servers.
  • Muslim Zone: This feature includes Islamic utilities such as prayer times, Tasbih counter, and other religious tools for personal use. Prayer preferences and Tasbih counts are stored locally on the user's device only and are not synchronized with our cloud servers.
  • Stopwatch & Timer: Stopwatch and Timer are personal utility tools. All settings and usage data remain on the user's device and are not stored or synchronized with our cloud infrastructure.
  • Class Routine: Users can create and manage class schedules, reminders, alarms, and routine configurations. This information is securely stored on the user's device and synchronized with our secure cloud infrastructure to enable backup, restoration, and access across the user's devices. Class routine data is private and accessible only to the authenticated user.
  • Work List & Notes: Users can create personal task lists, notes, reminders, and work schedules. This information is securely stored on the user's device and synchronized with our secure cloud infrastructure to enable backup, restoration, and access across the user's devices. Work lists and personal notes remain private and are accessible only to the authenticated user.
  • Money Manager: Users can record and manage income, expenses, savings, investments, loans, and lending information. These financial records are securely associated with the user's account, stored in our secure cloud infrastructure, synchronized across the user's devices, and are accessible only to the authenticated user.
  • Smart Calculators: The application provides various calculators, including general-purpose calculators and budget or market-related calculators. Calculation results and temporary inputs are processed locally on the user's device. Unless a feature specifically requires synchronization, calculator data is not uploaded to or stored in our cloud infrastructure.
  • Newspapers: MasterBari does not create, publish, or host news content. This feature serves only as a directory of official newspaper websites. When users select a newspaper, they are redirected to the publisher's official website to read the content. MasterBari does not collect, monitor, or track users' reading activities on these external websites.
• Usage & Performance Signals: We may collect application open/close events, page usage statistics, and study progress to improve educational services and determine eligibility for educational rewards. These statistics help us maintain application stability and monitor structural system performance.
• Local Storage: Local preferences, authentication state, PIN verification status, theme settings, cached content, and other temporary application data are stored locally on your device's secure cache to enable stable offline performance.

3. Device Permissions & System Control

To provide core application functionalities, the app may request specific system permissions. Users retain complete infrastructural authority over these parameters:

• Notifications & Scheduled Reminders: Used to deliver study reminders, class routine alarms, and important system alerts. Scheduled reminders are generated based on user-created routine data. The application does not contain an internal push notification toggle; users can completely disable or manage these notifications at any time directly through their Android System Settings -> Apps -> MasterBari -> Notifications.
• Photos and Media: Used only when you explicitly choose to upload or change your profile picture from your gallery. We do not scan, browse, or access your local media files without your explicit permission.

Depending on applicable laws, you possess distinct structural rights regarding your personal information. You can confidently exercise these features at any time:

5. Legal Basis and How We Use Information

Purpose Limitation: We collect and process your personal data only for specific, limited, and legitimate purposes necessary for core app functionality, user authentication, service improvements, reward structures, and stable account management.

Notes Content Policy: Personal notes are processed solely to provide note management, synchronization, backup, and restoration services. We do not review, analyze, sell, or use the contents of users' personal notes for advertising, profiling, or marketing purposes.

Data Transmission & Data Security: Some user-generated content may be temporarily stored on your device to support offline functionality and synchronized securely with our cloud infrastructure when network connectivity is available. Data is encrypted during transmission using HTTPS/TLS. Database access is protected using authentication and Row Level Security (RLS) where applicable. Client-side configurations stay in your device's secure local cache. Although we implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

6. Information Sharing and Third-Party Services

We do not sell or rent your personal information. However, we use trusted third-party service providers to operate our services. These providers process only the data necessary to provide their respective services:

• Supabase: Secure cloud infrastructure, authentication, encrypted data transmission, database storage, and secure synchronization and backup of user-generated content, including notes, class routines, money manager records, and other user data.
• Google Play Services & Google Sign-In: Identity verification, infrastructure stability, and push notification support. Users can manage notification permissions from their device settings at any time.
• Google AdMob: Displaying compliant mobile ads following explicit developer guidelines. AdMob utilizes the Advertising Identifier (Ad ID) to process programmatic advertisement deliveries based on standard device provisioning. The application relies on Google's automated platform-level consent frameworks and device settings. Users can reset or completely restrict personalized ads tracking at any time by configuring their device settings via Settings -> Google -> Ads.
• Cloudflare: Web application network security, SSL protection, and optimization routing.
